Rate Policies
Accommodations at the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail generally include the extensive breakfast buffet in Ludwig's restaurant - - after all it is the best way to start your day! However, we also offer room rates without breakfast. If that better suits your needs, please ask for details. Rates are based on double occupancy except when noted for quad occupancy.* Children 12 and under stay free in their parents' room or suite using existing bedding (up to 2 children). Extra person charge of $25 per night applies for persons 13 years and older. Rooms and suites are subject to maximum occupancy policies. Rates do not include tax, gratuities or parking. Rates, dates and packages are subject to change without notice.

Parking Fee
Valet parking in the Sonnenalp Resort's underground parking garage is provided at a rate of $24 per vehicle per day.
Pets
We welcome well-behaved dogs staying with our guests in our ten pet-friendly rooms. There is a $100 cleaning fee, limit of one dog per room and a 100 lb. limit. Based on availability. Dogs are not allowed in public spaces other than designated areas.
Deposit / Cancellation Policies
Spring/Summer/Fall Deposit Policies
Reservations require a deposit of one night's lodging and tax due at booking.
Cancellations made more than 14 nights prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 nights of arrival will forfeit the deposit of one night’s room and tax. As of day of arrival, early departures will be charged a $50 change fee.
Winter Policies
Sonnenalp Resort of Vail rates are based on double occupancy except when noted for quad occupancy.* Children 12 and under stay free in their parents’ room or suite using existing bedding (up to 2 children). Extra person charge of $25 per night applies for persons 13 years and older and $51 if breakfast package is also booked. Rooms and suites are subject to maximum occupancy policies. Rates do not include tax, gratuities or parking. Rates, dates and packages are subject to change without notice.
Deposit Policy
- November 22 though December 21, 2012 and April 7 through April 13, 2012 - Reservations require a deposit of one night’s lodging and tax due at time of booking.
- All Other Winter Dates: Reservations require a one night room and tax non refundable deposit due at time of booking.
- Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival (60 days for holiday season, not including Presidents weekend – February 14 through 17, 2013)
Cancellations
- November 22 through December 21, 2012 and April 7 through April 13, 2012 - Cancellations made more than 14 nights prior to arrival will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 nights of arrival will forfeit the deposit of one night’s room and tax. Ant nights dropped upon day of arrival will be charged a $50 change fee.
- Cancellations within 30 days or less of arrival (60 days during holiday season, not including Presidents weekend– February 14 through 17, 2013 ) are subject to full forfeiture of all monies on account. Any nights dropped or cancelled after booking will be charged, including early departures.
Travel Insurance
