Vail Living Well Experience PresentersSaralyn Mark, MD Saralyn Mark, MD, a world-renowned leader in women’s health, is known as a pioneer in this field. Dr. Mark, an endocrinologist, geriatrician and women’s health specialist, was the first Senior Medical Advisor to the Office on Women’s Health within the Department of Health and Human Services and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). As President of SolaMed Solutions, LLC, Dr. Mark continues to serve as a medical and scientific policy advisor to organizations and agencies dedicated to improving health. Dr. Nanette Santoro Dr. Nanette Santoro's major research interests include the reproductive endocrinology of premature, peri- and post-menopause and the physiology of hormone secretion. She is also the co-editor of the Textbook of Perimenopausal Gynecology. Cheryl Chessick, MD Cheryl Chessick, MD, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is currently the Director of Women’s Studies and Treatment at the University of Colorado Depression Center and works in the inpatient and outpatient division of the University of Colorado Hospital. Julie Hill Julie Hill is a health, nutrition and wellness consultant, an educator, advocate and coordinator and speaker for community wellness programs. She is currently a member of the Colorado Governor’s Council for Physical Fitness and a spokesperson for the American Heart Association. Laina Eskin Laina Eskin is a Physical Therapist and owner of Align Vail studio in Edwards Colorado. Laina specializes in Corrective Movement Therapy, a methodology that evaluates the whole body in order to restore optimal and efficient movement. She strives to empower those she works with through education on how muscles work, how joints move and utilizing the body in an integrated way to prevent injury and achieve their highest goals. Ellen Miller Ellen Miller is a USATF Certified Level 2 Endurance/Athletic Coach and works as an Outdoor Fitness coach in the Vail Valley. She is the Coach/Manager of the US Women’s Mountain Running Team and is the only American woman to climb Mt. Everest from both Nepal and Tibet 2. |
