This long, double-dogleg par 5 has plenty of trees and bunkers to eat up errant shots. An outstanding finishing hole before you retire to the 19th hole in our welcoming Pub.

local knowledge

  • Stay to the fairway - shortcuts are well guarded by trees and fairway bunkers. Drive to the right side of the fairway off the tee.
  • Lay up short or left of the cluster of bunkers that front the green. Going for the pin in two is a high-risk, low-reward maneuver.
  • The green is relatively flat, with a mild ridge across its middle. Get here in three and you should score par.
