Gerald Ford Amphitheater

What could be better than enjoying a live, outdoor performance next to the alpine glow of the Gore Range? Enjoy rock, blues, bluegrass and jazz at Hot Summer Nights, a series of free concerts Tuesday nights during June and July at the Ford Amphitheater. Other summertime events at the Ford include B. B. King, Norah Jones and the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival.

2003 brings the New York Philharmonic to town with conductor Lorin Maazel at the helm. Playing six concerts over nine days, this marks the debut of a multi-year engagement which will bring this world-class symphony orchestra to the Vail Valley each summer.

The Vilar Center

Just 15 minutes from the Sonnenalp in the Beaver Creek Resort, this 530-seat theatre presents a variety of performances. Whether you're in the mood for jazz, comedy, dance, theater or family shows, the Vilar Center is the place to be. This summer's hits include the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, folk music legend Arlo Guthrie and a selection of free family movies.
